桃園市長鄭文燦今（21）日上午前往部立桃園醫院門診大樓前，視察部立桃園醫院周遭消毒作業情形，並捐贈空氣清淨機供醫護同仁使用，鄭市長表示，近期桃園市發生確診新冠肺炎的本土案例，市府加強部桃周邊社區的清潔消毒作業，也感謝禾聯碩股份有限公司在疫情關頭，再捐贈20台空氣清淨機提供給部立桃園醫院使用，以行動支持第一線醫護人員，共同為防疫盡一份心力；市府也準備雞精慰勞協助消毒的陸軍六軍團33化學兵群及環保局防疫消毒大隊，感謝國軍與環保局隊員一同為防疫共盡心力。

鄭市長也說，桃園是防疫的第一線，桃園市的11家急救責任醫院一共收治223位確診病患、約佔全台收治病患數量的25.7%，而部桃又是桃園的防疫重鎮，收治的病患數量約佔桃園收治病患總數的一半，他代表所有的國人感謝部桃醫護同仁及協助防疫的相關工作人員一年多來的辛勤付出。

鄭市長提到，第一線醫護同仁承受莫大的工作辛勞與壓力，他看見部桃急診護理師葉佳燕在臉書分享自願留守的工作實錄，說明醫院發生感染事件後，院長及護理長等主管都是站在第一線給同仁最大的支持與鼓勵，由此感受到醫護人員專業、敬業的精神，因此呼籲全體國人要成為醫護人員的後盾，市府會持續與中央及醫院一同並肩作戰，只要團結一心、共同抗疫，相信辛苦會過去，光榮會來臨。

鄭市長表示，近期桃園陸續發生確診新冠肺炎的本土案例，為此市府與部桃及時採取適當措施，包括完成分班分流及隔離病房、紅區病患的轉介等，並進行全院的清潔消毒工作，消除環境中的感染因子，部桃周邊龍山、龍壽、龍祥、茄明、高城、高明及永豐等7個里的清潔消毒也已經完成，後續也將針對全市約360個重要的市場或商圈，提高消毒頻率至一週一次，請市民朋友安心。
