台中市政府推動「台中好宅」，強調生活不只是居住空間，也是展現新生活型態。住宅發展工程處表示，為帶給社宅居民不同的生活體驗，市府推動好宅公共藝術計畫系列工作坊，帶領民眾製作木製的桌子、椅子，從討論、分享，到共作與實際體驗使用，探索居住公共場域運用，並且凝聚社區及周遭居民的認同。
住宅處指出，以太平區育賢好宅《Ｎ張桌子，Ｎ張椅子！》公共藝術計畫系列為例，是由住宅處及公共藝術委託單位，像是好伴社計、臺灣義築協會、在地偏好、與木製研、周學涵藝術家等，帶領好宅住戶及周邊居民共同創作，提高大家對社區的認同與參與。
從事氣球佈置工作、參與共同創作的住戶蕭小姐說，在好宅中，除了提供居住空間外，也提供友善的公共區域讓住戶及附近居民一起使用。此次和藝術家、住戶一起創作桌子、椅子，是非常有趣且富有意義的活動，很高興有機會與居民同樂。(1/31*15)*都發局
