北市府積極推動水岸環境再造改善，去年開始辦理的關渡碼頭周邊設施改善工程最近完工，臺北市柯文哲市長特別率領市府各級官員及設計監造施工團隊等，於今天(3/15)舉行完工啟用典禮，一同見證關渡碼頭的嶄新風貌。

北市水利處表示，關渡碼頭區因鄰近關渡宮，常是遊客或單車族駐足休息的地方，水利處這一次將原有岸邊閒置的平台，透過重新規劃整理並整修關渡碼頭周邊相關設施，使關渡碼頭及水岸廣場煥然一新,這裡同時也是挑戰單車一日北高的起點，未來將會成為更夯的景點，也讓這次的改造別具意義。

水利處說，為提升關渡水岸環境品質及重塑在地記憶，柯市長上任後就積極推動「關渡水岸環境再造」，除了透過市府力量全力支持已有的「關渡自然藝術季」、「熱鬧關渡節」及「關渡賞鳥博覽會」外，這一次也將關渡碼頭及周邊廣場進行重新整理，透過在地民眾參與並以兼顧景觀及生態的規劃手法，在硬體使用與環境生態間找到一個共榮模式。

水利處指出，「關渡碼頭周邊設施改善工程」如期完工，透過將原有船舶停放之平臺延伸外推更鄰近淡水河，並且將既有廣場空間及木棧橋前往碼頭的通道相互連結，串聯關渡河濱自行車道、關渡自然公園等景點，也特別設置了特色打卡點、堤岸步道造型景觀，未來則將導入在地藝術活動表演活動及市集進駐，提供民眾親近河岸享受水岸風光的優質體驗。

水利處工務科進一步說明，臺北市致力發展淡水河為水上觀光道路，關渡碼頭是一個重要的據點，這個工程不僅重新營造關渡宮水岸公園的景觀，且一併改善周邊設施，提供舒適無障礙的友善空間，增加通視性，期望能提升帶動當地觀光效益。北市府後續將規劃攤車、市集及在地藝術活動表演進駐，讓大家在享受淡水河美景之餘，也能品嘗美食，欣賞演出，感受不一樣的水岸魅力。
