新科國民運動中心開幕試營7天全館免費

為提供更完善與安全的運動場所，新科國民運動中心去（109）年10月底閉館整修，將器材全面更新、加強線上預約系統，現在擁有專門的懸吊教室可以安排民眾熱愛的空中瑜珈和TRX課程，重訓空間也增加兩倍。林智堅市長表示，新科國民運動中心今（24）起至3月2日早上九點至晚上八點開放全館免費使用，並於3月3日早上六點正式營運，歡迎民眾來體驗，並遵從防疫守則。

林智堅市長表示，根據調查，新竹市每周規律運動的人口比例高達80%、是全國第三，因此逐步規劃達到「一區一運動中心」。其中首座新科國民運動中心於104年8月啟用，因鄰近竹科，受到園區居民喜愛，市府也評選出最優質的經營團隊，全面改善動線和軟硬體課程，希望熱愛運動的民眾，都能享受到更好的服務。

全新運動中心符合多元運動需求，包括游泳池、籃球、羽球、桌球場地、空中瑜珈教室與拳擊空間、TRX課程等一應俱全，林智堅市長上午也一一巡禮體驗，遇上大小市民不分年齡揪團來打球、報名游泳課，還有來上籃球、羽球課的新科國中學生，他說，運動中心設施不分年齡，呼籲市民善用設施多運動。

教育處表示，市府推「一區一運動中心」鼓勵市民運動，包括第一座新科國民運動中心、108年啟用的竹光國民運動中心、和預計111年啟用的香山運動中心。新科國民運動中心使用人次年年攀升，總計超過185萬人次使用，因此與廠商簽約重新投入近兩千萬整理場館，更新全館設備。

教育處表示，新科國民運動中心整修後，將原有體適能空間擴大兩倍，現在擁有專門懸吊教室，可以開設專門的空中瑜珈和TRX課程，二樓體適能教室的重訓區，也從原本的10幾坪擴充到40坪，重訓器材和空間增為兩倍。

教育處表示，運動中心更導入即時資訊系統，民眾可透過線上APP預約課程或場地；另外，全面換新游泳池過濾系統，因應長年使用而導致的污垢，並加強防水、修繕積水處，最後也更新監視系統與親子更衣室，讓運動環境更加安全。

「整修後設備變新、服務變親切！」社區居民劉昆與老友從以前就會揪團來打桌球，他表示，現在運動環境變得更舒適又便利。

新科國中學生李柔蓁說，籃球場的球框過去已經破損，整修後擁有全新球場，地板也翻新，打球、上課都更安全和舒服。

教育處代理處長沈靜濤表示，新科國民運動中心保留全館的公益時段、免費公益課程與活動、睦鄰計畫及游泳教學資源共享，並提供市府每年無償使用30天辦理相關活動，新的營運團隊並承諾未來5年，每年提撥50萬元公益金回饋新竹市，將用於新科國民運動中心體育績優獎學金、本市體育績優人士急難扶助金及辦理地方鄰里體育活動。

教育處表示，新試營運期間從今天開始，提供7天免費體驗場館設施及課程，時間從早上9點到晚上8點，試營運期間將有票券、課程之優惠活動，也歡迎大家來開箱試用，相關優惠訊息可上新科國民運動中心粉絲專頁查詢。
