581年：楊堅稱帝，北周亡。

7世紀 編輯

636年：唐朝五部史書（《梁書》、《陳書》、《北齊書》、《北周書》、《隋書》）修撰完成。

8世紀 編輯

705年：唐中宗恢復唐朝國號，將國號由「周」改回「唐」。

19世紀 編輯

1861年：俄國沙皇亞歷山大二世正式批准了廢除農奴制的法令，並簽署了關於廢除農奴制的特別宣言。

1865年：香港上海匯豐銀行開業。

1878年：俄羅斯帝國與鄂圖曼帝國簽署《聖斯特凡諾條約》，確認保加利亞脫離鄂圖曼而獨立。

1912年：中國同盟會在南京正式轉型為公開政黨。

1915年：負責航空科學研究的美國國家航空諮詢委員會正式成立，同時也是美國國家航空暨太空總署的前身

1918年：蘇俄與同盟國簽訂《布列斯特-立陶夫斯克條約》，以割地賠款的方式退出第一次世界大戰。

1923年：美國《時代》雜誌第一期正式出版。

1924年：土耳其廢除哈里發職位。

1931年：美國國會正式將作家弗朗西斯·斯科特·基為1812年戰爭巴爾的摩之戰作詞的《星條旗》定為美國國歌。

1933年：清雲科技大學建校。

1938年：沙烏地阿拉伯首次發現了石油。

1948年：國共內戰：瓦子街戰役，彭德懷率軍殲滅國民革命軍整編二十九軍，軍長劉戡自殺。

1955年：中共中央發出《關於迅速布置糧食購銷工作安定農民生產情緒的緊急指示》，強調對糧食必須採取「定產、定購、定銷」的措施。

1958年：努里·賽義德第十四次出任伊拉克總理一職，這也是其最後一次就任總理。

2005年：美國冒險家詹姆斯·史蒂芬·福塞特駕駛試驗性嘅「環球飛行者」號噴氣式飛機完成世界上第一次一個人揸飛機完成無間斷環球飛行。

2006年：首屆世界棒球經典賽A組預賽在日本東京巨蛋開打。

2009年：斯里蘭卡國家板球隊（英語：Sri Lanka national cricket team）在巴基斯坦旁遮普省首府拉合爾遭遇恐怖襲擊，造成護送球隊的6名警察和2名平民死亡，6名球員受傷。

2011年：蘋果公司在舊金山芳草地藝術中心發布iPad 2和iOS 4.3。

2013年：「長者及合資格殘疾人士公共運輸票價優惠計劃」第三階段實施，涵蓋範圍除港鐵、九龍巴士、龍運巴士、城巴及新世界第一巴士外，亦加入渡輪服務及新大嶼山巴士專營路線。Memorabilia edit

7th century edit

636: Five historical books of the Tang Dynasty ("Liangshu", "Chenshu", "Northern Qishu", "Northern Zhoushu", "Suishu") were completed.

8th century

705: Tang Zhongzong restored the Tang Dynasty title, changing the title from "Zhou" back to "Tang".

19th century

1861: Russian Tsar Alexander II officially approved the abolition of serfdom and signed a special declaration on the abolition of serfdom.

1865: The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation opened its doors.

1878: The Russian Empire and the Ottoman Empire signed the Treaty of San Stefano, confirming Bulgaria's independence from Ottoman.

20th century

1912: The China League was officially transformed into an open party in Nanjing.

1915: The National Aeronautics Advisory Committee responsible for aeronautical science research was formally established, and it was also the predecessor of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration

1918: Soviet Russia and the Allied Powers signed the "Brest-Litovsk Treaty" and withdrew from the First World War in the form of cessation of land and compensation.

1923: The first issue of American "Time" magazine was officially published.

1924: Turkey abolished the Caliphate.

1931: The United States Congress officially designated the "Stars and Stripes" written by author Francis Scott Key for the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812 as the United States National Anthem.

1933: Qingyun University of Science and Technology was established.

1938: Saudi Arabia discovered oil for the first time.

1948: The Civil War between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party: At the Battle of Wazi Street, Peng Dehuai led his army to annihilate the National Revolutionary Army and reorganized the 29th Army. Commander Liu Kan committed suicide.

1955: The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Urgent Instructions on Quickly Arranging Grain Purchase and Sale Work to Stabilize Farmers' Production Emotions", emphasizing that the measures of "fixed production, ordering, and marketing" must be adopted for grain.

1958: Nuri Said took the post of Prime Minister of Iraq for the fourteenth time, and this was also his last time as Prime Minister.

1960: King Hassan II of Morocco ascended the throne in the capital Rabat.

1965: Bejuna in Southern Africa (now the Republic of Botswana) implements internal autonomy.

1983: The "Lin Guoyun case" that caused a sensation in Hong Kong opened in the Supreme Court.

1986: The "863 Project" was drafted and completed.

1993: Canadian sprinter Class Johnson was banned for life.

1995: The UN peacekeeping force announced the end of its peacekeeping mission in Somalia.

1997: The Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand was officially opened, reaching a height of 328 meters, making it the tallest building in the southern hemisphere.

21st century

2001: Hong Kong held the first language proficiency assessment for teachers. All local teachers of English and Putonghua must pass the examination before they can continue to teach related subjects.

2005: American adventurer James Stephen Fawcett piloted the experimental "Global Flyer" jet plane to complete the world's first uninterrupted round-the-world flight by a single person.

2006: The first group A preliminaries of the first World Baseball Classic kicked off at Tokyo Dome, Japan.

2009: The Sri Lanka national cricket team suffered a terrorist attack in Lahore, the capital of Punjab Province, Pakistan, killing 6 policemen and 2 civilians and injuring 6 players.

2011: Apple released iPad 2 and iOS 4.3 at the Fangcaoyuan Art Center in San Francisco.

2013: The third phase of the "Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible People with Disabilities" was implemented, covering areas including MTR, Kowloon Bus, Long Win Bus, Citybus and New World First Bus, as well as ferry services and New Lantao bus franchise routes.
