為鼓勵年青人發揮創意，替彰化注入嶄新活力，彰化縣長王惠美27日上午前往北斗偑巷咖啡品嘗業者莊浚勝利用在地農特產品香菜所研發出獨特風味的「香菜咖啡」，隨後也到澳洲返鄉青年Alex與Cindy所開設的「與咖啡」品嘗澳洲咖啡與甜點香蕉蛋糕。王縣長說，Alex與Cindy兩人是到澳洲打工，對於當地咖啡文化非常的喜愛，在當地學習甜點製作及沖泡咖啡的手法，回到台灣後也向阿雅老師、金礦咖啡等學習。懷著在地生根，將地方的好、地方的美推廣出去的想法，兩人首先將老屋做簡單的修繕，開始經營咖啡店，店的氣氛相當不錯，販售的甜點香蕉蛋糕平時是在澳洲才吃的到，不但好吃又很有特色。歡迎民眾有空都可以來走走，來鼓勵這對青年朋友，可以一起分享在澳洲學習到的咖啡與甜點的技巧，期待有更多的年青人一起回來。
王縣長表示，北斗還有許多有歷史特色的老房子，縣府會積極做相關的聯繫，提供年青人更好的創業機會。
與咖啡店長Alex表示，當初會回來家鄉開咖啡店主要是對家鄉有感情，也希望能夠就近照顧父母。他們喜愛澳洲的咖啡文化，期望咖啡能夠走入日常生活，在享受精品咖啡之餘，也可以藉由咖啡讓民眾認識到在地的文化，看到家鄉的美。
北斗除了有奠安宮媽祖，還有肉乾、肉圓、香菜等，好吃又好玩，在防疫期間，戴口罩、勤洗手、保持社交距離，也不忘要拚經濟，歡迎民眾在春節期間到北斗走走，體驗在地人文好風情
