新竹縣政府文化局即日起至3月28日，在美術館一樓105展廳展出「春風化雨．執筆一生」－趙小寶柒拾創作展，這次展出63件作品，匯集了趙小寶老師七十三年來歲月精華作品，各時期代表作品，大部分類型是水彩及油畫，更展出長達8米水滸傳人物長卷，今(11日)記者會趙老師也展現精湛畫技，現場10分鐘以內就完成一幅人像素描畫，令觀者大為感嘆!

新竹縣長楊文科介紹，趙小寶老師從小喜愛看漫畫、畫漫畫，因此對繪畫有濃厚的興趣，中學時期決心考美術科系，便向新竹市武昌街李澤藩教授學畫，正式步入正統藝術的門檻，更在該老師建議下，決定從事教職，以「教學相長」教人畫圖也提昇自己，之後趙老師在新竹市育賢國中教書，春風化雨四十多年，現在繼續在救國團及社教館，科學城社大教素描、水彩，繼續帶領無數學子接觸藝術。

趙小寶老師表示，俗語說「人生七十古來稀」，七十歲對人來說總要劃出一個人生階段的逗點，因此籌辦這次的展覽，主題選用「春風化雨‧執筆一生」來詮釋，這一生努力耕耘的寫照。

本次所展出畫作中，其中一幅長達8米長「水滸一零八將」人物卷軸，水滸傳40多個角色躍然畫上，展現趙老師的高超連環漫畫技巧。趙老師表示，水滸傳中許多有義氣的角色，故事都十分觸動人心，因此每個角色他花上幾個禮拜收集資料，並加入妻子所擅長的水墨技法，花上半天繪製，之後的人生歲月，目標就是將一零八將任務完成，也是一個對生命的寄望。

趙老師說，此外，還有一幅名叫「抽刀斷水水更流」的水彩畫，是他一生十分特別經歷所繪，當時他與大陸藝術家在黃河，進行為期17天寫生藝術營，每日從早到晚畫圖，由於年紀較大便暈倒「差點見到死神」，幸好後來還是順利完成畫作，因此這幅畫作對他來說，也象徵「生命重生」意義。

文化局長李安妤表示，趙小寶老師曾策展新竹地區許多地方美展，1982年承辦新竹市教育局文藝季地方美展，更從1982到1991年，策展了十年的地方美展，因此，新竹的美術家無不認識趙老師，便擔任新竹市美術協會第四及五屆理事長，更在1998年創立迎曦畫會，在自立自足環境下，完成了18年次迎曦美展。

另外，本周六13日下午兩點新竹縣政府文化局美術館一樓105展廳，也舉辦趙小寶創作展開幕會，歡迎民眾參與，還有機會拿到老師的創作畫冊。

From now until March 28, the Cultural Bureau of the Hsinchu County Government will exhibit "Spring Weather and Rain. A Lifetime of Writing"-Zhao Xiaobao's Creation Exhibition in Hall 105 on the first floor of the Art Museum. This time 63 works are on display, bringing together the seventy-three years of teacher Zhao Xiaobao. Essence works, representative works of each period, most of the types are watercolors and oil paintings, and 8 meters long scrolls of figures from the Water Margin are exhibited. Today (11th) the press conference, Mr. Zhao also demonstrated his exquisite painting skills, and completed one in less than 10 minutes on site. A portrait sketch drawing amazed the viewers!

Hsinchu County Mayor Yang Wenke introduced that Mr. Zhao Xiaobao liked to read and draw comics since he was a child, so he had a keen interest in painting. When he was in middle school, he decided to take an examination of the Department of Fine Arts. Under the teacher’s suggestion, he decided to take up a teaching position. He also improved himself by teaching people to draw pictures by "teaching and learning." After that, Mr. Zhao taught at Yuxian Junior High School in Hsinchu City. The spring weather has been raining for more than 40 years. Now he continues to work in the National Salvation League and the Social Education Center. , The Science City Society teaches drawing and watercolor, and continues to lead non-mathematicians to contact art.

Teacher Zhao Xiaobao said that as the saying goes, "Life is rare in the past seventy years." At the age of seventy, people always have to draw a comma at a stage of life. Therefore, the theme of this exhibition is "Spring wind and rain. Writing for a lifetime" to explain this. A portrayal of a lifetime of hard work.

Among the paintings exhibited this time, one of the eight-meter-long "Water Margin 108 Generals" character scroll, with more than 40 characters on the Water Margin, is vividly painted, demonstrating Zhao's superb comic strip skills. Teacher Zhao said that the stories of many loyal characters in the Water Margin are very touching. Therefore, for each character, he spent a few weeks collecting information and adding the ink technique his wife is good at. He spent half a day drawing, and then the years of his life. The goal is to complete the task of 108, which is also a hope for life.

Teacher Zhao said that in addition, there is also a watercolor painting called "Drawing a Knife to Break the Water and Flowing the Water". It was painted by a very special experience in his life. At that time, he and mainland artists were in the Yellow River for a 17-day sketching art camp. Drawing pictures from morning to night, he fainted "nearly saw the god of death" at an older age. Fortunately, the painting was successfully completed later, so this painting also symbolizes the meaning of "rebirth of life" for him.

Li Anyu, director of culture, said that Mr. Zhao Xiaobao had curated many local art exhibitions in Hsinchu. In 1982, he hosted the local art exhibition of the Hsinchu City Education Bureau’s art season. From 1982 to 1991, he curated a ten-year local art exhibition. Therefore, there are no artists in Hsinchu. Without knowing Teacher Zhao, he served as the fourth and fifth chairman of the Hsinchu City Fine Arts Association. In 1998, he founded the Yingxi Art Club. In an environment of self-reliance, he completed the 18th Yingxi Art Exhibition.

In addition, at 2 pm on the 13th this Saturday, at Hall 105 on the first floor of the Art Museum of the Cultural Bureau of the Hsinchu County Government, the opening of Zhao Xiaobao's creation exhibition will also be held.
